Fuel Handling System
REEL NKM Noell Special Cranes designs and delivers advanced Fuel Handling Systems for loading, unloading, and transporting fuel elements within both boiling water and pressurised water reactors. Featuring high-grade steel grabs integrated into telescopic masts, these systems ensure safe, precise handling. Equipped with redundant safety hoists and monitoring systems, operations can be conducted manually, semi-automatically, or fully automatically, meeting the highest safety standards (e.g., KTA 3902). Our purpose-built control systems ensure seamless and secure operation at every stage.
Storage Cranes and other Equipment
REEL NKM Noell Special Cranes provides specialised cranes for intermediate storage, CASTOR storage, and drum storage, designed for transporting, handling, and stacking radioactive waste packages. These cranes can be operated from a radiation-protected cabin or remotely using crane consoles with safety windows or camera systems. Equipped with semi- or fully automatic controls and advanced warehouse visualisation, they ensure precise and safe operations. With a range of load capacities, our solutions meet the highest nuclear safety standards.
Reactor Building Cranes
REEL NKM Noell Special Cranes offers specialised equipment tailored to the unique demands of nuclear environments. Our reactor building cranes, polar cranes, semi-portal cranes, and turbine cranes are designed for critical operations such as transporting CASTOR casks, handling fuel, and maintaining installations.
