Pink October: REEL joins forces with United Heroes

Octobre rose 2025 avec REEL International

As part of its partnership with United Heroes, REEL is taking action for Pink October, reaffirming its commitment to prevention and support for women affected by breast cancer. From October 1st to 31st, 2025, REEL employees are taking part in a sports and solidarity challenge, where every physical activity becomes an act of generosity.

A collective challenge to support Rose Up

Every kilometer covered and every workout logged in the United Heroes app is converted into points, then into donations for Rose Up — an association that informs, supports and defends the rights of women living with cancer.

In just two weeks, REEL teams covered over 20,000 km, demonstrating the power of collective action and the will to make a real difference.

A full program to raise awareness about breast cancer

Throughout October, employees have access to a dedicated program via the United Heroes app:

  • A solidarity sports challenge with donations linked to activity
  • Two webinars: one with Rose Up’s President, and another featuring a patient-caregiver duo sharing their story
  • Articles and quizzes on prevention, screening and healthy practices

Why Pink October still matters?

A few key figures highlight the importance of this initiative:

  • 1 in 8 women will face breast cancer
  • 1% of men are also affected
  • 75% of cases occur after age 50
  • Adapted physical activity can reduce relapse risk by up to 50%

Thank you to all REEL teams involved

REEL warmly thanks its employees for their commitment to this solidarity challenge. By participating in Pink October, each person helps inform, support and defend women affected by breast cancer — while embodying the values of solidarity and responsibility that define the REEL Group.
