Gender Equality Index 2024: REEL Makes Progress
At REEL, achieving gender pay equality is a tangible priority. Introduced by the “Law for the Freedom to Choose One’s Professional Future,” the Gender Equality Index measures companies’ efforts in this area.
In 2024, REEL earned a score of 84/100 — a strong reflection of our ongoing commitment to fairness and equity.
Understanding the Gender Equality Index
Since March 2019, companies are no longer evaluated solely on their intentions, but on their tangible outcomes regarding equal pay. Equal pay for equal work is no longer a principle—it is now a measurable requirement.
The index is based on five weighted criteria, scored out of 100 points: pay gaps, salary increases, promotions, post-maternity leave conditions, and the presence of women among the highest-paid employees.
For the year 2024, REEL’s Gender Equality Index score is 84/100. This encouraging result reflects our ongoing dedication to equity. For NFM systems, the index could not be calculated this year.

A Workplace Committed to Gender Equality
At REEL, our HR policies reflect a deeply inclusive mindset.
We go beyond numbers to foster equal opportunities, support fair career development, and actively address unconscious bias across the organization.

AWARE Program: Driving Equality Forward at REEL
Since 2022, our AWARE Program (Accelerate Women At REEL) has been structured around three main goals:
- Attract more women to technical careers.
- Retain female talent within the organization.
- Raise awareness of unconscious biases.
This initiative underpins our efforts to foster greater gender diversity in the workplace.
Ongoing Commitment to Gender Equality
We are committed to achieving high standards. If the index exceeds 75, we continue our efforts to progressively improve our performance and minimize any remaining gaps. Every improvement we achieve reflects our commitment to excellence.
Managers, HR teams, and employees alike: everyone at REEL plays an essential role in building a more equitable environment.
The index is updated annually, providing the framework for corrective actions in alignment with our CSR commitments and reinforcing transparency.
