80th Anniversary Event – FAQ
This FAQ brings together all the essential information to help you prepare for your participation:

1. Participation & obligations
Participation in the event is not formally mandatory, but it is strongly encouraged.
This will be a truly special occasion: celebrating the company’s 80th anniversary is an important milestone in our shared history. The event will be a great opportunity to come together, recognize what we’ve achieved, and look ahead to the future.
We sincerely hope you will join us and take part in this memorable celebration.
Unfortunately, the teams who will be on call at the time of the event cannot take part in it, so that they remain available for operational needs.
The time spent at the event and on transport on Friday will be counted and paid as working time, in line with your usual contracted hours for a normal Friday.
However, any travel back or time spent on Saturday will not be considered working time and therefore will not be compensated as such.
2. Venue, access & logistics
Several venues are planned:
In France
- Cité Internationale, Lyon
- Palais Neptune, Toulon
- UGC Ciné Cité Atlantis, Nantes
- CGR Cinema, Cherbourg
- Le Mas des Cannelles, Castanet-Tolosan
In Canada
- L’Atrium Conférence, Burlington
- Château Royal Québec, Laval (also bringing together part of the REEL USA teams)
In Germany
- Cinestar, Frankfurt (also bringing together part of the teams from the Middle East / China / India / Zurich / Norway / Netherland / Finland)
You must go to the event location planned for your home site. The location that concerns you will be specified at the time of registration.
For mobile employees and people on assignment, the home site is, unless otherwise duly justified, the company site closest to the place where the assignment mainly takes place. You must contact your line manager and your HR manager to clarify this point as soon as possible.
All selected venues are establishments that regularly host the public and are therefore accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Employees with a REEL badge must bring it with them for identity checks. An ID document will be requested at the entrance of each location for sites that do not use badges.
Parking may be available depending on the venue, but it is not covered by the organization. If you come with your personal vehicle, you are responsible for any parking costs. No parking space reservations are planned.
Reception arrangements vary depending on the venue. Everything will be done to ensure your comfort, including facilities for leaving coats and bags whenever the venue allows.
A photographer and videographer will cover the event. Official communication will be shared by the Group, especially on LinkedIn.
Individual posts are not encouraged; we invite you instead to share the official content that will be made available.
At an event of this type, where there are many people and several individuals taking photos, it is unfortunately impossible to guarantee 100% that no image of you will be taken or circulated.
However, if you do not wish to appear in photos, here is what you can do:
Avoid clearly identified areas that are being photographed or filmed (stage, photobooth, activity areas, etc.).
We do our best to respect everyone’s wishes, but given the collective nature of the event and the number of participants, we cannot control all photos taken or carry out individual searches across a large volume of pictures.
3. Event program & schedule
The event celebrates the company’s 80th anniversary and offers a friendly opportunity to share our history and our vision for the future.
The detailed program will be communicated later.

An aperitif drink will be offered during the event. No alcohol will be served during dinner or lunch, or during the festive part of the event.
The event will be filmed and broadcast live. A replay will also be made available so that you can watch the content again. Further information on this will be communicated to you at a later stage.
4. Transport & travel
Yes, you may come with your personal vehicle. However, since buses will be provided to ensure everyone’s safety, any costs related to using your own vehicle (mileage allowance, fuel, tolls, parking, etc.) remain entirely your responsibility and will not be reimbursed.
The time spent at the event and on transport on Friday will be counted and paid as working time, in line with your usual contracted hours for a normal Friday.
However, any travel back or time spent on Saturday will not be considered working time and therefore will not be compensated as such.
You do not need to do anything: accommodation is arranged by REEL organization. Practical information will be communicated later.
To ensure that accommodation can be arranged for you, it is essential that you complete all accommodation-related fields accurately when registering.
You do not need to book anything yourself: transportation is arranged by REEL organization. Details will be shared later.
To ensure that your reservations are made correctly, it is essential that you provide accurate and complete information when completing your registration.
5. Catering & specific needs
Meals will be served as a varied buffet so that everyone can find options that suit them.
Information on main allergens and dish characteristics (vegetarian, etc.) will be clearly displayed.
However, no individual, tailor-made adaptations are planned. The diversity of the buffet has been designed to best accommodate different dietary needs and preferences.
6. Registration, communication & information
We would be grateful if you could provide your response by 6 May at the latest, so that we can organize the event in the best possible way.
Of course, we will remain flexible and will be able to take into account registrations from new hires or any specific situations after this date.
For employees who will be joining the Group, an update of the attendee lists will be carried out at the end of July, and each manager will then make the final adjustments to the list together with the HR.
If you are unable to attend at the last minute, please inform your manager & your HR.
