Factory in Villefranche-sur-Saône - France
The Villefranche-sur-Saône factory spans 12,000 m² and stands out thanks to its fully integrated multi-market manufacturing processes. Its advanced equipment allows us to carry out:
- Machining: up to dimensions of 12 x 1.4 x 3 meters
- Boilermaking / Welding: featuring advanced welding robots
- Assembly and testing: two testing pits of 18 m and 21 m
- Dimensional and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): COFREND-certified
- Painting: cabins with impressive dimensions of 10 x 6 x 5 meters
This site employs more than 80 professionals dedicated to industrial excellence.

Factory in Nantes - France
Located in a dynamic industrial environment, the Nantes factory covers 9,000 m² and specialises in stainless steel manufacturing. Its key features include:
- Machining: parts up to 12 x 2.5 x 1.5 meters
- Welding: using electron beam processes
- Assembly and testing: water pool testing
- NDT controls: COFREND-certified
With over 100 employees committed to precise processes, from cutting to final testing, the site ensures optimal quality at every stage.

Factory in La Rochelle - France
The La Rochelle factory specialises in the production of large-scale equipment and benefits from a strategic location with direct quay access. Covering 6,000 m², it provides:
- Machining: parts up to 8 meters in diameter and 3 meters high
- Welding and assembly
- Workshop: 25 meters of under-hook height with 100 tons of lifting capacity
- Testing capability: a dedicated pit measuring 6 x 6 x 5.5 meters, with direct quay access
- NDT controls: COFREND-certified
The factory employs 70 professionals, and its significant assembly capacity allows it to meet the demands of the most ambitious projects.

Factory in Saint-Bonnet-de-Mure - France
The Saint Bonnet site is a key player within the REEL group for the manufacturing of high-precision industrial lifting equipment. Spanning 2,500 m², the factory is equipped for:
- Boilermaking / Welding
- Assembly / Testing
- Dimensional and Non-Destructive Testing: COFREND-certified
The site employs 40 people, all committed to innovation and performance.

La Seyne-sur-Mer Factory - France
In our 60,000 m² workshops, we subcontract the machining of parts weighing several tons with a degree of precision of less than a millimeter.
Our teams are skilled in:
- turning,
- milling,
- and boring high-performance metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, AG3NET, and composites.
This site has direct access to the sea for the delivery of all very large parts.

Factory in Canada, located in Boisbriand
Based in Canada, the COH site complements our international network by offering solutions tailored to the North American markets. With a 5,000 m² facility, the factory specialises in:
- Manufacturing heavy equipment for the energy industry
- Welding
- Assembly and electrification
- Platform testing of automation systems and software
- Dimensional controls
Its 180 employees combine local expertise with REEL’s know-how to deliver top-notch results.

Springfield Manufacturing Site – United States
Located in Springfield, Illinois, the facility spans 9.26 acres and provides 43,500 sq ft of manufacturing space. The site is equipped with three 15‑ton overhead cranes and one 30‑ton crane, strengthening REEL’s production capacity in North America.
Key activities:
- Manufacturing of equipment for U.S. hydro and nuclear projects
- Mechanical and electrical assembly
- Manufacturing operations in extension of the Boisbriand site (REEL COH)
- Progressive modernisation of lifting and infrastructure assets
Operational since January 2026, the Springfield site is ramping up to support REEL’s growth in the United States.
