On January 1st, 2018, REEL officially integrated NFM Systems, formerly the Energy division of NFM Technologies. This strategic move expands REEL’s capabilities in key industrial sectors, including nuclear, oil & gas, and complex infrastructure.

A smooth integration within REEL

The integration began as early as January 2nd, with dedicated support from REEL’s headquarters. All REEL tools and systems were fully implemented by summer.

NFM Systems now operates from three sites: its main office in Lyon (Vaise), and additional agencies in Cherbourg and Bagnols-sur-Cèze.

“The cultural alignment between our teams made the process very smooth,” says Eric Dufaitre.

A dedicated entity built for long-term success

A new legal entity, fully owned by REEL SAS, was created to consolidate the project teams and engineering services from NFM Technologies.
Operating under the name NFM Systems, this entity brings together around 50 experts specialized in engineering, manufacturing and after-sales services.

Proven expertise in high-stakes sectors

  • NFM Systems is a recognized player in several demanding industries:
  • Nuclear – containment systems for reactor buildings
  • Oil & Gas – robust systems for harsh environments
  • Large-scale infrastructure – mechanical systems for bridges, roofs and offshore structures

With this integration, REEL broadens its scope in sectors that demand performance, safety and reliability.

A shared commitment to performance

REEL and NFM Systems share core values: complex project management, engineering excellence and agility in meeting client needs.

“Combining our expertise will allow us to deliver ever more efficient solutions to our customers,” says Jacques Rigollot, Managing Director.

Moving forward together

The integration of NFM Systems reflects REEL’s long-term vision: to strengthen its know-how, embrace new industrial challenges and build a shared future based on technical excellence.
