At REEL, our priority has always been to protect our people while honoring the trust of our industrial partners.
During the recent global health crisis, we quickly adapted our operations to ensure the safety of our teams while maintaining essential activities. This balance allowed us to support our clients and prepare for a stronger recovery.
Backed by over 75 years of resilience, REEL reaffirmed its ability to respond to disruption without compromising on safety, quality, or commitments.
Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our employees—on site, at home, or in the office—we continued to advance key projects despite the challenging context.
Key industrial achievements during the health crisis:
ITER – Load tests ahead of schedule In the heart of the Tokamak building, our teams completed load testing of two 750-ton overhead cranes. Despite the complex co-activity with ongoing construction, the milestone was reached three days ahead of schedule, fulfilling a demanding request from our client F4E.
EDF – Ensuring energy continuity REEL’s nuclear division remained active to support EDF and its partners. By implementing strict safety protocols, operations were resumed safely across multiple sites, from polar bridge upgrades to heavy-lift crane modifications and filtration systems.
Aluminum production – Global support Teams from REEL ALESA, REEL NKM Noell, and REEL COH remained mobilized, from Norway to Bahrain, ensuring industrial continuity while applying all required safety measures. Meanwhile, our Xiamen site in China managed logistics operations to deliver thousands of protective masks to Europe.
In every action, REEL demonstrated a sense of responsibility, adaptability, and teamwork—confirming its long-term commitment to clients and employees alike, even during crisis.
