REEL AEI designs and manufactures Electronic Drilling Units for portable and light robot applications, specifically in the aerospace industry.
These machines are capable of drilling holes up to 24 millimeters in diameter, in a one-shot operation. They feature advanced functions such as electronic fragmentation, first layer detection and countersink depth correction, ensuring precision and reliability. This EDU´s patented technology, is the result of more than 10 years of co-development between REEL AEI, Arts & Métiers and Cetim.
REEL AEI’s range includes 4 models each optimized for a specific diameter range. Their modular design enables compatiblity with various accessories and clamping systems, enabling quick reconfiguration for multiple applications.
Lead by a disruptive 100% electric technology and Direct Drive architecture, REEL AEI’s machines transmit power directly to the drilling shaft, without reducer nor gearbox, maximizing performance and efficiency.
Control, lubrication, mechanical and electrical interfaces are customizable depending on client’s configuration.
S300, S500, S500R and S700. Each model is optimised for a particular diameter size.
