Module-specific maintenance takes less time than servicing an entire hoist, reducing maintenance-related system downtime.
Each primary module records and stores operational data, enabling precise usage tracking and improving preventive maintenance strategies.
HELISAR: A Hoist Designed to Comply with ETSO 2C208 Standards
Since 2012, REEL has been actively participating in EASA working groups to define the standards for next-generation hoists. By incorporating user feedback and the requirements of helicopter manufacturers, the modular Class ALPHA hoist was developed through constant dialogue with stakeholders in the industry.
Its development focuses on three priorities: safety, reliability and availability. The modular hoist is assembled in France at our Villefranche-sur-Saône facility.
